It can be a bit challenging to get that glow your skin needs and even harder to maintain it. However, good skin care does have to be such a complex chore. In fact it's actually a lot easier to maintain than you think.  There are many brand name skin care cleansers, toners, and anti-aging products out there. However, if you'll notice many of these products leave your skin feeling dull, dry and flaky, after each use. Many of these products even cause serious breakouts. It is mostly because of the chemicals used to make the products. If you read the ingredients on the bottles closely, some of those same ingredients are used to make cleaning products, bleaches, and ammonias which cannot at all be healthy for skin. There are a few very basic techniques to keeping that radiant healthy glow.

Cleansing

Ife Kiora cleansers are made using organic clays, organic fruits, and natural oils. You must cleanse your skin daily. This is rule. Cleansing is especially necessary for those who use make up on a daily basis. Exfoliation is also necessary. It is a simple process that removes dead skin cells from the surface of your body. Most of the time when you exfoliate at home, you use some type of face wash that has tiny, sandlike particles in it.  Depending on your skin type you can use a dab or a dollop of Faye's natural home remedy cleansers and  exfoliants. Cleansing your skin is especially important before going to bed, because your body excretes toxins through your skin as you sleep. If you perspire, then rinse off and massage your face with a coarse cloth or damp towel before retiring to remove salt and dead-skin buildup.

It important to remove any make-up from your skin before going to bed. If facial pores are clogged with makeup and dirt, breakouts can occur. Your skin needs to breathe while you sleep. It is only necessary to exfoliate 1-2 times per week. Excessive use of exfoliants can dry out skin and cause redness and even rash.

Do not exfoliate if you have skin rash or sunburn. Cleansers and exfoliants are not one in the same. Please do not try to substitute one for the other.

Moisturize

You must moisturize daily at least twice per day. Morning and Night. The best kind of moisturizer for skin is water. Not only should you be drinking lots of it but you should also splash your skin with it on a daily basis. Lukewarm water is preferred.  Water provides organic nourishment and hydration that your skin needs.  You can do so by using both night and day moisturizers to keep the skin hydrated and relaxed.
